As controller at FBMM, Rachel Flood leads financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and software and systems administration for the firm. With over three decades of experience, including more than 20 years at FBMM, Rachel brings a deep expertise and passion for the music industry and operational excellence. She is committed to delivering Gold Standard service to every FBMM employee, whom she proudly considers her “clients.”
Behind the Scenes
While Rachel’s foray into the music business technically began when her father launched Chuck Flood & Associates in their family home in 1986, her first official gig was working at Bismeaux Productions in Austin, Texas, when she was just 18 years old. Throughout her career, she has worked at Leadership Music, Sony Music and Columbia Records, where she spent four years as manager of A&R administration.

• Rachel and her husband enjoy hiking local trails in the Blue Ridge Mountains, relaxing by their fireplace and traveling with their son (including seeing The Rolling Stones more than 10 times!).
• While she’s a self-proclaimed “pop music junkie,” Rachel loves music of all genres.
• She champions causes close to her family’s heart and considers it an honor to carry forward her parents’ wishes.
