Adrian Rivers, Head of Indirect Tax at FBMM, brings with him more than a decade of experience as a tax attorney and tax manager. In this role, Adrian ensures FBMM’s clients remain compliant with all sales and local tax requirements and assists our business management teams with tax considerations for clients. Prior to joining FBMM, Adrian worked in public accounting as a tax attorney and advised clients across multiple industries, including entertainment, technology, construction, food/beverage, fashion and gym/apparel on federal and state tax efficient strategies credits and compliance. He also represented artists and music industry executives, advising on contract negotiations, publishing and distribution agreements.
Adrian earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated from Howard University School of Law.
Behind the Scenes
Adrian is a member of the Georgia Bar Association. Outside of work, he and his wife love to travel, whether it’s an international trip to Japan or South Africa or exploring new cities and concert venues.
Did you know?
• Although Adrian lives in Colorado, he is not a fan of winter sports. You can find him and his wife enjoying après ski activities instead.
• His first concert was Bow Wow and B2K; but the most unforgettable experience for him was a show at Red Rocks, where he had the chance to attend soundcheck and explore the venue.
• Adrian cheers for all Georgia sports teams and his alma mater UNC.
