Erica Rosa, owner and vice president of Royalties and Contract Compliance at FBMM, joined the firm in 2009 as its first full-time royalty employee. Erica is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations and royalty work for FBMM’s roster of internationally known recording artists, producers and songwriters. During her career, Erica has conducted successful recording and publishing royalty audits, profit participation audits, and merchandise and brand audits worldwide. She also specializes in providing advisory and analytical services for music catalog sales and contract negotiations. In 2015, Erica created and implemented FBMM’s record label administration division, providing royalty accounting services to independent record label and self-releasing artists.
In addition to handling all royalty matters related to FBMM’s clients, Erica is responsible for continued staff education by creating and implementing educational workshops on royalty-related topics.
Behind the Scenes
Erica is a SOURCE Nashville board member and Hall of Fame Awards chair. She also serves as an area operations and finance director for Phi Mu Fraternity, Inc. She is an alumna of the Leadership Music class of 2023 and a former advisory committee member for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s Troubadour Society.
Erica is a member of several professional organizations, including the Country Music Association, the Recording Academy and the Association of Independent Music Publishers, and an alumna of the Women’s Music Business Association and the Society of Leaders in Development (SOLID).
Did you know?
• Erica grew up volunteering at the Paducah Summer Festival with her mom and knew from a young age she wanted to work in the music business.
• She relocated to California from 2020 to 2023 to help establish FBMM’s LA office (nothing says welcome to a new city like a global pandemic …).
• Her career highlights include helping clients navigate life-changing catalog sales that set them up for the future and reaffirm the value of their music, including multiple eight- and nine-figure catalog sales.
• Erica is a big University of Kentucky basketball fan and enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and her pup Louie, a good book, and a nice glass of wine or bourbon.
