Jamie Cheek is an owner and vice president at FBMM, responsible for overseeing the firm’s staff and setting the vision for the company’s continued growth and excellence. He has been a co-owner of FBMM since 2006, but has worked as a manager at the firm since 1997, becoming a well-respected presence in the music industry. With more than two decades of experience, Jamie is both a trusted adviser and financial manager to top recording artists and one of the most highly regarded business managers in the industry.
Behind the Scenes
Jamie has been named the CMA Touring Awards Business Manager of the Year twice (2013 and 2016) and was a finalist for the 2018 award, which co-owner Julie Boos won. He has been consistently recognized as a heavyweight in the music industry by Billboard Magazine, Variety, MusicRow and the Nashville Post.
He is a board member of Riser Foundation and the Country Music Association and serves on the advisory board for the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. He is an active member of the Academy of Country Music, the Country Music Association and the Recording Academy.
